Ayers/Dorhn And Obamas Connected in Late ’80s?

These connections appear to have been made elsewhere and I know its possible for people to work in the same organization, at the same time, and never meet, but my tin foil hat is tingling a little, on this one…
From Bernadine Dohrn’s Wikpedia page:
From 1984 to 1988, Dohrn was employed by the prestigious Chicago law firm Sidley Austin. She was hired by Howard Trienens, the head of the firm at that time, who knew Thomas G. Ayers, the father of Dohrn’s husband. “We often hire friends,” Trienens told a reporter for the Chicago Tribune.
From page 2 of the article “Michelle Obama’s Career Timeout” by Anne E. Kornblut, Washington Post:
She went on to Harvard Law School, graduating in 1988. For the next three years, she worked as an associate at the Chicago law firm Sidley and Austin, where she was assigned to mentor a summer associate named Barack Obama.
From Barack Obama’s Wikipedia page:
During his summers, he returned to Chicago, where he worked as an associate at the law firms of Sidley Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990.
Hey… the linking is tenuous, but it is plausible..
